Refinery is waiting for new equipment and materials
January 2020 marked the beginning of large-scale supply of equipment and materials for the construction of the Hydrocracking complex at Afipsky Refinery.
Five trucks delivered the filters from Europe and from the port of Temryuk arrived first batch of components for the Hydrocracking complex. On the last days of January, the first batch of heat exchange equipment and tanks & vessels manufactured by ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited (India) is scheduled to be delivered from the port of Novorossiysk in amount of 27 units, the total batch weight is 874.2 tons. The all-up weight of the package is 75,400 kilograms; a rental crane with a load-lifting capacity of 160 tons will be used for cargo handling operations.
- Also in the port of Temryuk, 16 items of oversized and large tonnage equipment of Schwartz-Hautmont Construcciones Metalicas (Spain) are waiting for transportation - says Elena Dimitrova - Deputy Head of the Foreign Economic Activities Department of Afipsky Refinery - Among this equipment there are: Emergency Drain Drum V-4152 and Rich Amine Flash Drum V-6101, their delivery will be carried out on a specially designed route.
In addition, in January in the port of Novorossiysk started shipping of containers with 101 pipes and valves & fittings (China), control valves made by Flowserve (India) and refractory lining materials made by Brembana & Rolle S.pA. (Italy). The total weight of this batch of equipment and materials is more than 2500 tons.
The arrival of the remaining equipment and materials under CNCEC contract (China National Chemical Engineering Company, a partner of the Afipsky Refinery) is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
