Afipsky Oil Refinery Provides Financial Support to Village Clinic
One of the largest oil refineries in southern Russia continues to implement charity projects.
Last week, the Refinery transferred about a million rubles to the Severskaya Central District Hospital. The funds were used to develop the material and technical base of the Afipsky clinic.
According to Manolis Ananikov who is the head doctor of the Seversky Central District Hospital, nowadays the medical equipment of the hospital became obsolete and outdated.
In this regard, Afipsky Refinery transferred money for the purchase of several Mindray 8 monitors for the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. Due to its small size and light weight, these devices are easy to transport and move around in the room. Thus, doctors are able to provide assistance to several patients at a time. The area of operations of Mindray 8 is intensive care and resuscitation.
Apart from that, the money was transferred to equip the Afipsky clinic with a ramp for visiting the medical facility by people with disabilities. In addition, financial support from the Afipsky Refinery will allow to construct a shadow canopy on the building.
The remarkable thing is that this is not the first case of social partnership between the Refinery and the Seversky Central District Hospital. Previously, the Refinery transferred funds for the purchase of medical equipment to the department of anesthesiology and intensive care as well as to the surgical department.
