Employees of the Afipsky Refinery took part in "Clean Sober" environmental campaign

The youth council of the Afipsky Refinery organized a campaign to clean the slopes of the Sober-Bash mountain, a popular tourist destination in the Krasnodar Territory. The environmental event “Clean Sober” was held on the eve of the Day of spontaneous outpouring of kindness. More than 40 volunteers took part in the event - workers of the refinery together with their families. Representatives of the local authorities of the Azovskaya rural settlement supported the initiative and helped dispose of the garbage.
The route of movement of the initiative group ran from the foot of the mountain to its top. Within hours, volunteers overcame 19 kilometers of a mountain road and collected 35 bags of garbage. Bicycle and forest paths, mountain streams, and a plateau on the top of the mountain were cleared of household and domestic waste.
The campaign, which was held with the support of the refinery trade union, was included in the Program of environmental activities of the Afipsky Refinery for 2019. In addition, employees of the refinery take part in Community/volunteer Cleanup Day and environmental raids, which are regularly held on the territory of the Seversky district. In 2018, an alley of 55 oaks and maples was planted, which decorated the entrance to the refinery from the Novorossiysk-Krasnodar federal highway.
