Afipka NPZ started modernization of the production complex
Afipka NPZ started modernization of its production complex. Based on the results of new technological facilities construction, the company plans to increase the refining capacity from 6 to 9 million tons per year in two stages, as well as to increase the refining ration from 77% to 81%, then to 93%.
The first modernization stage plans include hydrocracking, diesel hydrotreatment, and crude oil distillation plants construction projects, as well as new water treatment facilities. In addition, off-site facilities and the additional Novovelichkovskaya-Krasnodar main oil pipeline will be put into operation.
At this moment, comprehensive engineering survey has been completed, project documentation has been developed that has been approved by the state expertise.
The next modernization stage will include construction of a delayed coking unit with a capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, which, upon commissioning, will allow production of petroleum coke and increase the refining ratio to 93%. Currently, the project documentation of the facility is being developed.
