Afipka NPZ organized an occupational guidance session for schoolchildren
Afipka NPZ conducted a professional orientation training for senior pupils of Afipsky Municipal Lyceum.
As part of the event, intellectual quiz, competitions for skills, ingenuity, erudition were organized for schoolchildren, and a creative task was offered.
A total of 55 pupils of the vocational lyceum took part in the training, the children had to solve problems and answer questions not only on school-wide disciplines, but also on the history of Afipka NPZ. Determining the winner in the contest was not an easy task: the high schoolers showed excellent knowledge and outstanding abilities.
The occupational guidance project, part of which was the training for the lyceum students, has been implemented by Afipka NPZ since 2013 and includes a multifaceted interaction with industry-specific educational institutions on an ongoing basis. In course of various educational activities, students are provided with the opportunity to study in depth specific subjects, get acquainted with the specifics of oil refining processes and the production complex of Afipka NPZ. In total, since the beginning of the project, three profile classes have been trained with a total number of over 70 people, including 29 medalists. The first graduation was in 2015.
